To foster sustainable economic growth and development in African nations by providing a platform for in-depth analysis, collaboration, and innovation among key stakeholders, including government officials, business leaders, economists, and investors. Through a week-long program of targeted activities, we aim to drive economic progress and unlock new opportunities for investment, entrepreneurship, and capacity building.
To become the leading catalyst for economic transformation in Africa, where each participating country leverages our platform to realize its full economic potential. We envision a future where African nations thrive through strategic partnerships, robust economic policies, and empowered local businesses, contributing to the continent's overall prosperity and global competitiveness.
The AEF Country Economic Week (AEF-CEW) is a dynamic initiative under the Africa Economic Forum, dedicated to providing a focused, week-long program for reviewing and advancing the economic landscape of selected African countries. Each AEF-CEW event gathers a diverse array of stakeholders—government officials, business leaders, economists, and investors—to engage in meaningful discussions and strategic planning sessions. Our program is built around key components, including Economic Review sessions, which provide a thorough analysis of a country's economic performance, and Business Programming segments that highlight investment opportunities, support local entrepreneurship, and promote business partnerships. We also offer Capacity Building workshops designed to equip local entrepreneurs and policymakers with essential skills for success in the global economy. At AEF-CEW, we are committed to creating an environment where collaboration and innovation flourish, helping participating countries build stronger, more resilient economies that can adapt to the evolving global landscape.
